TrustedHousesitter provides a 3 step verification process. You can see a Trust Badge on a member’s profile to see the level completed. Verifications include criminal background checks, I.D. verifications & I.D document checks.

Exploring after giving an email: Before spending any money, take a look at the many house sits available worldwide. On the top banner, positioned on the left, you’ll see “Find a house sit”. Once you’ve given your email, you’ll be able to see and explore all the live house sits at various locations. At this point, you can choose to refine your location by using the search filter box on the left, or by zooming into an area on the map. Filters can include dates, duration, pets, local attractions, and more.
• Buying a membership: Paid members will now have the ability to APPLY for house sits and access further features. The most basic plan costs 119 EUR per year (you can see all the different options in the next section). Remember to use code PILAR25 to save 25%.
- Create your profile: Join to fill out your profile detailing why you’d be an ideal sitter and what you can offer.
- Apply for house sits: Receive daily email alerts about the latest house sits and apply directly to the homeowner via the website.
- Enjoy your house sit: Once confirmed make your travel arrangements and enjoy meeting new pets and people, near or far
- Leave a Review: Once a house sit is completed home & pet owners are encouraged to leave detailed reviews on sitter’s profiles. It’s a great way to learn about other’s experiences.
