1. Why we chose Bruna Guerra
After having our baby, we knew we wanted to capture his first moments with a newborn photoshoot. We actually found Bruna through word of mouth—friends had worked with her and spoke very highly about the experience. That led me to her website, where I fell in love with her photography style: natural, warm, and emotional. Then I checked out her Google reviews, and wow—so many glowing testimonials from families, couples, and business owners. Everyone mentioned how professional and kind she is, and how beautiful their photos turned out. Her photos feel real, not overly posed, and she catches the connection between people in such a beautiful way.

2. Getting Ready for the newborn photoshoot
Bruna makes things super easy. She offers photo sessions in her studio in Bonn, but if you’d rather do it at home or at another place, she can come to you.
We chose the studio option—and honestly, I’m so glad we did. The space is really pretty, filled with soft, neutral tones that work for everyone and every kind of photo.
Bruna also has a lovely selection of dresses and outfits for moms and even maternity styles for pregnant clients. For your baby she also has outfits. This saved me so much time and stress figuring out what to wear.
She also gave us simple prep tips, like dressing in light neutral colors. It was all very relaxed and helpful.

3. The day of the photoshoot
Our session was in January—yes, middle of winter in Germany! So outdoor shoots weren’t really an option, but Bruna’s studio was perfectly warm and cozy, with heating that made the whole space feel super comfortable.
From the moment we arrived, Bruna made us feel at home. She has such a calm and positive vibe, and she’s amazing with babies. She comes from Brazil and has 3 kids, speaks German, Portuguese and English.
Our little one, Santiago, was totally chill the whole time. She gave us plenty of time to settle in, feed the baby, and take breaks as needed—nothing felt rushed or forced.
Another thoughtful touch in Bruna’s studio is that she has a bathroom equipped with baby changing facilities. As any new parent knows, having a clean and convenient space to change your little one makes a huge difference—especially during longer sessions. It’s just one of those small but super helpful details that show how much care and attention she puts into making the experience smooth and stress-free for families.

5. Final Thoughts
If you’re in Bonn (or nearby) and thinking about professional photos for your newborn or pregnancy, I can’t recommend Bruna enough. The experience was calm, fun, and beautifully organized—from the cozy studio to the final gallery of photos that she sent me on a link which then made it super easy to download.
She’s not just a photographer—she really gets people, especially parents and little ones, and that makes all the difference. 💛
