In contrast to the rest of the best breweries in Cologne mentioned before, this brewery is not in the city center but in the south of the city. This brewery is very special to me because here we celebrated our civil wedding. After the Standesamnt (Civil Registry) we had an awesome boat ride on the Rhine and then went to Brauhaus Quetsch. From this brauhaus the views of the river are amazing.
Tucked away in the charming suburb of Rodenkirchen, Brauhaus Quetsch offers a cozy, neighborhood vibe that feels like a well-kept secret. This family-run brewery is known for its warm hospitality and traditional Kölsch served in a relaxed, unpretentious setting.
